Meet the Deep Water Legends crew—three long time friends who share a passion for offshore fishing. Nate, Alex, and Troy call Charleston, South Carolina home, where they spend every chance they get on the water, chasing big fish and honing their craft.
Nate is a U.S. Air Force veteran and a lifelong fisherman with experience chasing fish from Massachusetts to Florida. He has worked with private tournament teams and competed in offshore fishing tournaments from the Northeast Canyons to Florida’s blue waters. A true expert in rigging, Nate specializes in trolling techniques that put big fish on the deck. His passion and knowledge make him a valuable asset to any fishing crew.
Alex has a passion for fishing like no other. As the owner of Nextcar Auto Center, his free time is precious, and he spends as much of it as possible offshore, chasing large pelagic species. While Mahi Mahi is his favorite catch, he fishes the waters of Charleston, SC, year-round and is a true master of the deep. His dedication and expertise make him a formidable force on the open ocean.
Troy cut his teeth fishing for trout and other freshwater species in his youth, setting him on a lifelong adventure that eventually led him to Florida, where he honed his skills in inshore fishing for snook and redfish. His journey later took him to Homer, Alaska, where he worked for a charter company specializing in huge halibut. A bottom fishing expert and an all-around handy guy to have on board, Troy knows his way around a filet knife and makes easy work of most catches
